Oaklands is a popular spot for RV drivers and caravanners, with five well-equipped RV parking bays in town. Take advantage of the facilities including the barbecue and a dump point, and spend the night in the comfort of your own RV or caravan as you get set to explore the wonders North of the Murray in the morning.

When passing through Oaklands, take time out to stop at the surprising Vintage Machinery Museum. Discover the old tractors, harvesters and other machinery from days gone by. Don't miss the opportunity to photograph the Oaklands Orchid, which you'll find in the centre of town. Learn about the great work being undertaken by the Oaklands community and the Department of Environment to promote the continued survival of this highly endangered but beautiful native flower.
