Lake King is a popular spot with locals and tourist who enjoy walking around the 1.2 kilometre Arthur Mann Scenic Walk, which gives you a great opportunity to view the bird life that makes Lake King their home.
Lake King is also stocked with yellow belly and redfin perch and is a perfect spot for the kids to learn how to fish.
There are public toilets and barbecue facilities available, children’s playground and skate park.
There is no swimming allowed in Lake King, however not far from the lake is the Rutherglen Swimming Pool which is open during the summer months.
