Winter sees the local clubs, pubs and wineries come alive with live music playing every weekend. For the country music fans, the Corowa RSL Club has its annual Country Music Round Up in June. If Rock ‘n’ Roll is more your thing join ClubMulwala for their Rock ‘n’ Roll festival.

Time for a Walkabout

Winter weather and a tasting of two of a bold red or a fortified wine go hand in hand in the Corowa Region. Choose your own path between wineries or join in with the local events. 
Rutherglen Winery Walkabout in June will see the local wineries open their cellar doors to a weekend of fun and entertainment allowing visitors and locals sample the flavours of the region.

Great Outdoors - Fishing adventures

Go fishing this winter in the Corowa Region.   
Throw a line in before Cod season closes on 1 September. Lake Mulwala is the perfect place to try your hand at catching the ever elusive, legend of the waterways, the Murray Cod.  
For a tamer fishing experience, Murray Cray Season opens June 1st and is a great way to spend the day on the banks of the mighty Murray River enjoying a little friendly competition to see who will become this years Master of the Cray.
